About Us

Falcon Drones is an independent guide to small camera drones that weigh under 250 grams, written for people buying their first drone, for themselves or as a gift.

We answer the plain questions that buyer has: which drone to get, whether it makes a good gift, and what you have to do before the first flight. The rules we explain come from the FAA’s own pages, and we link to them.

Our buying guides are researched, not lab-tested. We haven’t flown the drones we write about: we compare the makers’ specifications and listings, and each guide says how it rates products.

We earn a commission from some links, at no cost to you, and no brand pays for placement. Read how we choose products and make money.
